class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Pettenon Cosmetics approached digitisation several years ago with a triptych of needs, relating to the B2B market, the B2C market, and the operations resulting from the launch of new campaigns.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly<strong>, sharing up-to-date content and information with the very dense network of distributors in Italy and abroad<\/strong> was time-consuming for the marketing and product teams at headquarters.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The onus was also on the B2C channels: <strong>delivering digital assets and data on over 2,000 products on marketplaces<\/strong> absorbed a huge amount of resources.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an essential aspect, <strong>given the general tendency of users to conceive of online shops as digital agora in which to deepen their knowledge of products<\/strong>, rather than as virtual purchasing spaces.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" responsiveness to business needs.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From conceiving <strong>a new product launch<\/strong>, <strong>penetration into a new market<\/strong> or <strong>a new marketing campaign<\/strong>, the media creation, approval and distribution flows took too long.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was in this context that the company approached the worlds of <a vendors.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the moment of go live, however, something goes wrong.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:90px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-orange-thron-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4ba552653789ad530d78d09ed5ddf1dc\"><strong>Why separate and inconsistent systems, each with different operating logics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The PIM software initially chosen, in particular, proved unsuitable for the company&#8217;s real needs, causing inefficiencies and generating high costs related to complex integrations and constant maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The decision to switch to the entire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thron.com\/en\/platform\/thron-platform\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.thron.com\/en\/platform\/thron-platform\/\">THRON platform<\/a><\/strong>, which integrates
