{"id":8768,"date":"2024-06-20T10:00:42","date_gmt":"2024-06-20T08:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thron.com\/?post_type=case-study&#038;p=8768"},"modified":"2025-06-24T11:18:59","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T09:18:59","slug":"fitt","status":"publish","type":"case-study","link":"https:\/\/www.thron.com\/en\/customers\/fitt\/","title":{"rendered":"FITT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It all started when<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2019, the global scale and relentless growth of FITT made the opportunities for development of what had hitherto been digital asset management increasingly evident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The search for the most up-to-date version of a piece of content yielded slow and uncertain outcomes, as thousands of pieces of content were scattered among the various divisions and named without shared rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a consequence, sharing assets to B2B partners and publishing them on online sales channels was cumbersome, also due to the continuous manual updating of the product catalogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An environment prone to frequent delays and manual errors, as well as the risk of a weakened brand image, due to an unstructured <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thron.com\/en\/resources\/what-is-a-dam\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"8508\">digital asset management<\/a> approach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, the Group is looking for a digital platform to streamline the teams&#8217; as will soon be the case for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thron.com\/en\/resources\/what-is-a-pim\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"8519\">Product Information Management<\/a> flow &#8211; <strong>was gradual.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The implementation of THRON was started in the marketing area (main producer of images, videos and catalogues), and was then extended to the Customer Service (keeper of relations with our commercial partners) and R&amp;D (author of data sheets) teams.
