Can THRON be classified as a CDN? 
Not exactly. A CDN is an infrastructure of geographically distributed servers that optimizes the speed of file delivery to the end user: it reduces latency, caches content, and speeds up load times. THRON’s Channel Activation Layer includes advanced delivery capabilities and AI-powered content optimization. It determines which content gets distributed, to which channel, in which format, with which product data attached, with the guarantee that it’s up to date and approved. Fast delivery is included, but it’s a byproduct of governance, not the starting point. 

Which channels does THRON Platform support natively?

Subsequent updates propagate automatically. No separate syndication system is needed: the Channel Activation Layer handles the entire distribution logic from the same platform where data and assets live.
